ok lappy died on me tired of of it...to much to fix, thinking of buying a small form factor or mini tower pc for easy fixing whats everones thoughts .....

A desktop is always going to be a more powerful option of a laptop and probably cheaper too, question is...how important is portability?

Rude put it simple and it is. If you are a mobile DJ then carry a Desktop with all your dj stuff is not a big deal. But if you only go with your laptop and hard disk to a gig, then a laptop is the way to go (but is going to cost more)

yeah i have a coffin wit 1200s mobile...got an idea of a lcd monitor mount to the coffin including a keyboard hold for this keyboard..

small form factor, wifey's got a shuttle , never any issues, except loss of bpm data and losing virtual folders. But methinks that's the database's integrity's problem.
