I have been trying to make VDJ work but decided to go back to 5.2 pro. Problem is now the laptop will skip or lag every 8 seconds. Help. How can I fix this? I am using windows XP

I am unable to sucessfully go to my restore points. I made a new restore point and I can load that successfully. Something happened. I defraged the drives and I found a few services to stop. What could be wrong?

The skipping happens on windows media player also. Help!

i was able to get skipping to stop but something is running even after I have every program off. The CPU bar is moving.
