Topic: How to save Cue points?? [SOLVED]

Dieses Thema ist veraltet und kann veraltete oder falsche Informationen enthalten.

Hi,

does anyone know how I can save the cue points so that they remain even after I've closed VDJ?

Thanks

Xavier

Try to fix your database by pushing FIX button in Browser window.

In which case you have a problem; I can assure you it is completely automatic.

As above; what OS and what VDJ version? Does VDJ close cleanly or is there any kind of crash?

Do you ever change your file names or move the files around?

The cue points are relative to the file location.

I maintain a folder of for charts and each week change the track number to the chart position and then get MediaMonkey to rename the files. Consequently when I open the chart folder again all the cue's are gone. I accept this for these folders, but for the rest of my music cue points remain with the tarcks...

The big issue I have now is that I've been going overboard on Media Monkey (which I only discoverd a few weeks ago) as I have been renaming files the way I have always wanted to <disc#><track> - ... This means I now have a fair few tracks that have changed which are about to loose all their cue points etc.

I was thining about writing some code to transpose the filename sin the database, but that would probably take a lot longer than simply resetting the cue points when I load the track!!!!

Cheers,

Roy
