OK...just converted from PC to MAC finally, and have ProBook with 10.6.2. LOVING IT.
After lengthy calls and review of VDJ and SSL forums, I finally got clear sound from right deck and left deck on channels A and B on my Rane MP4. (As it should be)
I had to set up an aggregate device in Midi utilities for the MP4 with Quadrophonic settings. In VDJ, config is External mixer with Quad soundcard and my MP4 device selected. It works GREAT.
Only problem is that when I exit VDJ then go back in, left and right deck won't play when I load up tracks. I go back into config and everything looks the same. I have to change to incorrect settings that give me ticks or hums before I revert back to the proper settings. Then it works.
Is there a better way to config the MP4 with MAC that VDJ will remember. My current "workaround" leaves me with an uneasy feeling.
