What about a menu in the gain option to set "always at ..." and choose between some classical values (0db, -0.2db, -0.4db, -0.5db).
It could be easy to program and useful.

I had the same in mind, to add user input in the gain menu, so it can be 3 choises:
always 0, always match and "user".
Or double click at the 0db option to let the user overwrite it.
Wavelab has this in the normalise window and it also "remember" the user's inputs with a drop down menu.

Good idea,
at this moment i set the first song of the gig to -3 dB. Then the next songs will match. But because i also play cd's so sometimes the value is jumping to another value. Sometimes i notice this just after a couple of songs.
Ewout

Yes that's the reason because I suggest a value to choose in a list.
