Topic: Keyboard Shortcut to "config" Menu

Anyone here know how to access the config menu via the keyboard?
Seems I have a bad habit of trying out new skins who's config buttons are incompatible with never versions of VDJ, and consequently can't access the menu to change them once I've committed...

It is possible...
Just create a keyboard shortcut.
The action is 'settings'
I use control+shift+return... for this.
 
Alright, thanks Apopsis. That won't get me out of my current jam. But at least I'll be ready next time, once I've set it up. You'd think they'd include a shortcut for that function by default, but, oh well... I suppose it is what it is...
 
Re-install VirtualDJ and it will revert back to the default skin.

Or delete the appropriate custom skin that you installed from My Documents\VirtualDJ\Skins
 
Yeah, (reinstall) that was the route I decided on. This isn't the first time I've encountered this problem, so I knew that would work if it became necessary. I found that I couldn't use Apopsis' specific key combination though, as it happens to be the the default for the track preview function, at least with my V7s.

Now,.. if only the software *was actually* fully integrated with the Numarks, this would be a killer combination. But alas, I guess for now I'll have to go back to using Seroto.
 
i chose the wrong skin and the config button was off screen.

i exited the app using Alt+F4. When VDJ reloads it tells you the skin is the wrong size for your resolution. Press Cancel. The default skin should now be in use so you can go to Config and change what you need.

Press ALT+F4 to exit the app
Load the App again. Press Cancel
Default Skin is now shown

i tried to map my keyboard with virtual dj pro7,its gettin mapped but its not gettin saved.pls give me a solution..

shift + Esc will get you in to config that will do it my friends don't delete any thing unless you need to.
 
can someone help me here my config button is not working after downloading virtual dj le
 
What do you mean by 'not working'?

VirtualDJ LE 7 (and earlier) have very restricted config options.
 
when i open the config button it only tell me to upgrade to pro version
