Will someone tell me how to convert *.vob from a musicdvd in perhaps *.mp4 in good quality to play them on VDJ on MACBook with OSX 10.6.
On Windows7 there is a program "DVD Shrink"

VisualHUB for MAC , is payware but it's a great software.

I don't understand why you would want to convert from .VOB files and compress your files to a lower quality format. MY .VOB files play just fine on my mac. Altho I do wish I could find a good program to do batch tag and renaming of all file types including video. It doesn't seem like anyone makes such a program. Do people really not think you would ever need to rename or retag more file types other than audio??

Two reasons why the above user may wish to convert to MP4:
* Considerably less disk space usage with normally no perceivable loss in quality.
* MP4 files support tagging - VOB and MPEG2 do not.
