Hello fellow Virtual DJ users,
I need some assistance as soon as possible. I recently purchased the new Denon DN-MC 6000 MIDI controller and I have virual dj pro. I decided to also purchase the Korg Nano Kontrol unit to control effect and samples however I have no clue as to how to set this up. I tried to follow the instructions from the controllers download section of this website
http://www.virtualdj.com/addons/12496/NanoKontrol_Sampler___Fx.html
but it is extremely confusing. I can't see the file (Nanokontrol Sampler & Fx) when i try to look for it. Also, when I try to open up the Korg Kontrol Editor the device is not coming up. I'm getting an error message that statest he following "failed to open the MIDI Port".
Can anyone assist me in this. I have a wedding where the client wants me to provide them with a sample of my mixing abilities and could reallly use the Nano Kontrol for this function.

you should just need to place the downloaded mapper in your mappers folder, mine's located here C:\Documents and Settings\founts.SYNTHET1C\My Documents\VirtualDJ\Mappers
and the definition file in the devices folder C:\Documents and Settings\founts.SYNTHET1C\My Documents\VirtualDJ\Devices

I can't see the downloaded mapper. The file will not come up in the korg kontroler browser. Would you be willing to send me a copy of your mapper so I can see if it's something on my end? Thanks

Also, what type of file is the mapper? Based on what I'm seeing it looks like it's an xml file. Is this correct?

Sorry, mappers are only available to registered licensed users who have purchased the full VirtualDJ Professional. You can upgrade at a discount by going to http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html
Please do not ask users to send you mappers to which you are not currently entitled.
Your current VirtualDJ LE version can only be used with the MC6000 and does not support other MIDI controllers, except for 10 minutes at a time as a trial of the full VirtualDJ Pro.
