I try putting my mates serial number of the program on here but it says serial is invalid.
Might have to save up and just buy it myself.

You cannot use somebody else's serial number.
Doing so is both illegal and a violation of the End User License Agreement: http://www.virtualdj.com/atomixproductions/disclaimer.html
Sharing serial numbers is NOT permitted. If you are using your friend's version of VirtualDJ and/or his serial number, remove it from your computer IMMEDIATELY.
Please support the software and its future development by purchasing your own legitimate license: http://www.virtualdj.com/products/comparison.html
