Hi I need some major support
I am new to the djing world and have purhased the below
cm200usb mixer numark
dmc2 software controller and
the cue software
I can not seem to get my external mixer working with cue software.
I do not have an external amp also so i am wondering if this is causing the issue
I do see output on the mixer master control but the crossfader is not working nor do i receive any output on my laptop speakers
can post jpeg
but in sound setup
input none
output external mixer
sound card mono seperated primary sound card
please help
What i want to do is connect external mixer to the cue software while listening to this on my laptop
is this configuratrion possible
Thanks

first of all you should register your copy of cue, so you can upgrade to the latest version 7.2... then yes you do need an external card with two stereo outputs, if your on an extreme budget you can use a 4.1 or 5.1 surround sound usb, but your better off with a NI Audio 2 or numark dj io.
If you upgrade to cue 7 you could even split the headphone out of your computer into mono channels get a few adapters and be able to plug that into the mixer, but i don't recommend that as you won't get the best or loudest sound
