Looks like the pcdj unit.

basically a unit which bring all your main mixing controls into the real world is the simplest way to explain it..

huh? Do you mean the DAC-2 controller? That is a controller that controls VirtualDJ 1.05. This is the primary reason I bought this software to use it with a rack mount controller.

I do not look at any dj software seriously unless it has support for a wired controller. The buttons on the dac-2 control (some) of the features of VirtualDJ. Controllers are used by professional DJ's in a 19" rack mount case with a usually with a mixer.

VirtualDJ will also work with a DMC-1 controller if you are lucky enough to get a hold of one. It looks like this...
http://www.soundcity.com/prod_images/dmc1.jpg But the DMC-1 needs an upgrade chip to work with VirutalDJ where as the DAC-2 will work right out of the box. The upgrade chip for the DMC-1 is available at http://www.gizmolabs.com

Again, The buttons on the both controllers will only control some of the features of VirtualDJ. Start, stop, pitch bend, match, pitch sliders, and load. You can not navigate the record case, use loops or FX with the controller. I am hoping Atomix Productions will add more support for wired controllers soon so everything can be done from the DAC-2 or DMC-1.

By the way, I use many different DJ programs and all of these support a wired controller one way or another.

PCDJ Red
PCDJ FX
Mixvibes 5
BPM Studio
Traktor DJ 2.0
