Got the Numark DJ2Go! You can see the icon on my profile on the left side! :-)

Not sure whats wrong with but it is a cheap plastic unit. I think of them like my Korg Nano's, there just THROW AWAYS. I dont think there really made to last even if it is for a few days.........

Good Luck

@aalaap.. you should've listened. I went through you're same dilemma. Hercules rmx+VDJ pro=Flawless System:)

"cough" iDJ "cough" still going strong after a fair bit of abuse from hammering the buttons and knobs, although the faders are a little weak but the platter is bullitproof, it is the only dj controller icon make so they are built well within an extremely tight budget. probably designed to last longer than any cheap numark offering...

Figured out half of it.

I was first using VDJ Home Free, which only supports external controllers for 10 minutes as a trial mode. Ugh.

I then tried VDJ LE Lite, the included version, which should work just fine, but it doesn't. I don't know why.

If I restart VDJ Home Free or uninstall/reinstall or whatever.. it does work for another 10 minutes. So the unit is fine, the software is being a bitch.

Another $49 for VDJ Pro? Sigh...

unfortunately you need the full version of pro not just basic... its $250 when upgrading from a 2go

I figured that, but why isn't LE Lite working?
