Is there a way to edit your mix like put in effects and stuff to fine tune it after you've mixed it?

i wouldnt honestly give you an answer to that as all three i use and all three are awesome.
they all have their possitives. personally, i tend to use cubase less than ableton and audacity.
ableton is an all out production software that will give you a massive toolbox to edit, mix, remix and produce tracks from scratch.
audacity is more basic and is superb for quick editing, triming, tweaking a set.
others are, fruity loops and studio one which are both good softwares also, it would be best that you try them all, but ableton and audacity i would say are the top two in my eyes.
