I know this is a topic that has already been much debated, but I'm sitting on two ebay auctions that end in about an hour, and I've got 180 for a RMX and 150 for a DJ Control Steel, so we're down to the wire. Both are brand new never been used, and in my price range (obviously, thank you ebay).
I know the main difference between the Control and the RMX is the built-in soundcard. I'm largely a bedroom dj who also plays college parties and is looking to branch out into club/small venue gigs. Scratching is not a big concern, I'm mostly an electro/house DJ. I've messed around on a friend's Numark Mixtrack Pro a lot and while I enjoyed it, I was not crazy about the plastic feel and I've heard really good things about the Hercules controllers (plus they just look like finer kit). I'm willing to part with some more cash for a higher quality soundcard if I get the Steel, but with the prices what they are right now, I could go either way. Experiences on either, suggestions, comments??
Given the prices and situation, what would y'all suggest?

I'd get the RMX, you can still upgrade the soundcard later if you want, but apparently the RMX sound is okay, plus you have the benifit of being able to plug in turntables.

I would go with RMX, this is a good controller to start with, plus you get a discount to upgrade to pro. It is well worth it.
