I saved a series of keyboard shortcuts as an .XML file when I was using VDJ two years ago. I'm now on a new computer with the latest version -- HOME FREE 7. Can I load this .XML file into the mapper to get my shortcuts back?

Which version where they created in?
If they were created in v6.0 or later, simply copy the XML file to your VirtualDJ home folder (/users/YOURNAME/Library/VirtualDJ/Mappers or /users/YOURNAME/Documents/VirtualDJ/Mappers if you have upgraded from older versions.)
If they were created with VirtualDJ v5.x or earlier, then no, you will not be able to use it. The mapping language changed to the more flexible and powerful VDJscript in v6 and mappings in the old mapping language are not compatible.
You will need to create the shortcuts again in the new format - Please see http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/VDJscript.html
