Hey all..
Well I have a PC Rack (Basically an actual computer on my dj rack) and I have virtual DJ 7 pro with VMS4.
I dont want to use my VMS4 since I droped it and well long story..
What I still have is my old velocity CD'js. My question is after reading all these post
How many audio cards do I need to install? The good thing is that I have an actual PC with PCI slots available for 10 audio cards if I want.
So how many do i need? how do i configure it? Would I lose my headphone capability or where does that plug in? Im assuming on my pc not my mixer right?

If your plan is to run time code CDs on the Velocity, then you need a card that has (at least) two stereo inputs - for sending the code in to the computer - and two stereo outputs, for sending the music from the computer to your mixer.
A MAYA 44 PCI card would do it.

Do I need to get a card that expensive? Cant I just get 2 low budget cards or 4 card lol? Also how do i hear my headphones or Cue from the mixer or would I not user the cue/headphones from the mixer any longer?
I really do wish there was a diagram out there where I can actually SEE it all connected including the headphones.

That's not an expensive card!
And the reason you should use just one card is because of timing issues. Using two cards, each will be slightly out of sync with the other, which could lead to all sorts of set up or sound problems.
As for cue/headphones, you plug them in to the headphone socket on your mixer, and press the cue button for the track you want to hear.
All very basic stuff for DJing.
How about this:
Instead of buying a MAYA 44 and using your CD player with time code CDs, why not buy a basic USB controller?
That way you're controlling the computer directly, and not through a bodge/hack system that allows old tech to control new tech.
