Current setup
CDJ-400 (x2)
Macbook Pro 15" 2011
Just a question about aggregate devices.
I connect my both my CDJ-400 players to my MacBook Pro through a 4 port USB hub. When I launch VDJ, I have to always go into Advanced Sound Setup configuration and change both primary sound drivers to Pioneer CDJ-400 so I can use the internal sound card of the players.
Every time I do this, VDJ recognizes both players without issue. (both are listed as Pioneer CDJ-400). However, once I start testing the decks, it seems that the decks are always setup backwards in both the mixer and the virtual decks, having me to go back into the configuration and reverse the sound cards to get the decks on the right channel.
My question is.....Will setting up an aggrevate device for each player keep this from happening each time I launch VDJ and remember the settings after closing the program? I have not setup aggrevated devices for these players in the Macbook since it seems to be recognizing both players. I just have to fiddle with them a few times to get them to recognize the correct channels

Nope from my experiance unless you plug them into the same usb port you will have to fiddle with them everytime you got out with them. It doesn't take long once your used to it.. hope thats a help?

Thanks,
so just curious....
Why even setup an aggregate device? What is the purpose of it?
