hi,
i use a macintosh macbook pro i5 with a hercules mk4 soundcard/console and vdj 7.0.5 and wireless microphone for weddings etc..
this past weekend i had a gig, and not only did i lose connection to my external drive containing my music, but the mic lost sound.
disconnecting the hard drive and reconnecting did not work at all, and restarting vdj during a break did not restore the sound from
the microphone tho i could i see it registering input during sound check. is there a repository of older versions of the program we
could use to downgrade for an older more stable version? is there a recommended stable version?
thanks!

I would say the actual Pro Full 7.0.5 is the most stable one.
If you would like to use a older one, please tell what kind of rev you like and i can put it into your download center.
BUT, i don't believe, this is the problem..
Please check if you have installed the latest driver for the MK4.

Whats your setting at VDJ Config - soundcard?

NOTE: You should always have sort of backup solution to fall back on in an emergency.
The MK4 is a software MIDI controller and cannot continue to function on its own should something happen to your computer.

thanks for the update. i am using the updated driver you've linked above. and running snow leopard os
config in vdj below:
input: microphone
outputs: headphone :: master 1&2 headphones 3&4
soundcard: mk4
in testing im finding that the microphone can go out suddenly in an inconsistent manner.
if i change the headphone channels via dj console mk4 controlpanel/advanced tab, i can get the mic back, and
for a time, if i changed the midi channel for controls as well it would return but thats proving inconsistent as well.
workaround-wisewise, i plugged the mic into the speaker, but it was def a murphys law situation.
