I'm about to get out of my mixtrack and start using some real equipment and purchase a copy of vdj pro.
I am stuck on something though, how does the mixer connect to VDJ? At first i thought the mixer had to be USB or Midi to hook it up to the computer, but now i'm reading about people hooking them up not using usb or midi? I just don't understand how that's possible, data can't move across RCA i thought?
Can someone please help me clear this up so i buy the right stuff, i currently have 2 denon DNS1200s comming in the mail and i need to know what mixer to get. I was planning on getting a Behringer DDM4000, just because of good reviews and midi, but if i don't need midi there is no point and i can get something cheap for now, like a Denon dx120, but that has no USB or midi, so how does it connect to the computer?
Sorry if it sounds dumb, but from my view it just doesn't make sense unless i'm missing something.
My setup will be, 2xdns1200s, mixer, djio sound card, computer.
