Topic: Pioneer Ergo- Best Setting For Best Scratching?

Dieses Thema ist veraltet und kann veraltete oder falsche Informationen enthalten.

Just curious to see what your settings might be for the Ergo in Vinyl Mode?
I currently have my Registry Tool set to 2930 in the Jog Sensitivity, but am sure that there can be room for improvement.
I'm trying to get as close as vinyl as possible (I know, Ergo..not vinyl, but whatever might be the closest?)

I have mine set at 975, you could start at like 1025 and go from there.

Hope that helps

975 setting for scratch CONFIRMED for the Hercules DJ Control MP3, MK1, MK2.

That works! Real well, in fact. Thank you!

looking at this thread if i upgrade to pro i can get my jog wheels tighter....my new stanton djc.4 is about to be sent back because of the jog-wheels. it says 128 step per rotation after researching i found out that actually the lowest per rotation value i come accross. im looking at the pio ergo or the denon mc3000

You can adjust jogwheel sensitivity in the full Pro, but ultimately it is limited by the capabilities of the hardware itself. Also, if you are using a Windows PC, an low-latency ASIO capable sound card is essential for good scratch response.

You can try out Pro features by enabling the time limited Pro trial built into VirtualDJ LE or you can try Pro features for 10 minutes at a time in VirtualDJ Home FREE: http://www.virtualdj.com/download/free.html

so my question is what step per rotation..should i go ergo or mc3000...i only need 2channel controller...but i would like to be able to depend on the scratch a little more...another member said his jockey 2 has the same step per rotation and his scratch was fine....so im thinking its le...cant tweak anything other than latency.

i like the function of the stanton, but cant seem to perform a basic wiki wiki transition scratch.

If possible, your best option is to go to a DJ store that has these controllers on display so that you can try them out for yourself before purchasing.

Otherwise, please visit the manufacturer's websites to download manuals and other technical details.

i do that alot.....but most of them are not connected and if they are they are not using VDJ..so im asking the only people i know where i thought i could get a little more insight. this is just one part of my research..getting insight from actual virtual dj'ers....cause at most stores around here will direct you away from virtual dj, mostly traktor and serato supporters, so i come here for a virtual dj insight.

were all pretty one eyed around here... But the difference is we all have VDJ Pro so we can tweek the settings to our needs. Any controller you test with VDJ LE is not optimised the same way so using them in a shop wont help cement your decision, and is not based on the reality that only VDJ Pro will provide. If you want to know the best controller for scratching it would be the NS6, the best cheapest option is probably the Reloop TM2 but it doesn't have a soundcard capable of running timecodes. The next best that can do everything is the Reloop Digital Jockey 3, but that is not sold with VDJ so no upgrade path exists.

I think ANY controller with the regisrty tweak can and will scratch as long as it has touch sensitive jogs.........I have had and tried many controllers and everyone I tweaked and got to scratch. The only difference was the feel of the jog wheels.

thanks all...ive been doing some digging and figured id hold on to the stanton djc.4 cause i do have my traktor sp2 and i hooked it up to that...and low and behold all my gripes were settle...so i figured id save up for my vdj pro upgrade and like you said tweak it.....so thanks everybody...im happy i know the solution to my problem
