So I have been working on VDJ 7 for a while and have been unable to fix only one problem:
When I am recording within VDJ, my crossfader works properly while the 2 tracks I am mashing play. The issue is that when listening to the recorded material, both channels are in it, regardless of where (and when) I moved my crossfader. I am using VDJ Pro 7 attached to an American Audio VMS4. I need somebody to tell me what I have done wrong and how do I fix it. Thanks in advance.

I have done this, and it didn't work. It actually wouldn't even play through my speakers or headphones. Any other ideas?

Well that's the correct way to do it.
If it's not working, you must have something set up incorrectly.
Without you providing more detail, there's nothing more I can suggest.
