Topic: ASIO Sound Driver Error?

Dieses Thema ist veraltet und kann veraltete oder falsche Informationen enthalten.

Hello, this is my first post on the VirtualDJ Forum, and I have a bit of an annoyance with VirtualDJ, I've tried using the ASIO Sound Driver for a more advance configuration but every time I try to use it, I get this error; "Error in the ASIO sound driver: your sound card is probably not connected or your settings are incorrect". I've tried a lot to fix this problem yet to no avail. I have reset all of the settings to defualt via VirtualDJ, and as soon as I click on ASIO Config, or Apply, I get that error. I'm just a casual DJ'er I don't have turn tables, external sound cards, or anything of the such. I have Virtual Audio Cable, and Realtek HD Audio, the sound card is on the motherboard, I don't actually have a PCI sound card, but here is all of my PC specifications and then some;
Hopefully someone can help me troubleshoot this, thanks!

I'd like to add that since I don't have a PCI sound card I'm using the USB Sound. My computers motherboard has Dolby Home Theater with support for all the surround configurations all the way up to 7.1 surround.

You can't use ASIO unless you have an audio interface that supports ASIO (which would have its own ASIO driver).

Unless you've bought a specialist computer, the onboard sound will not be ASIO.
