Ok , I have been a member since the start. I have been on here since the 2005.. yes , the start. I bought this as I once used others. I have sold and installed over 200 dj set ups in my life. This is my second job. I love the direction of the program. I have sold gear that had to be updated with other programs and the people who bought the other programs paid each time. Not in virtual dj.. The best things about this gear is someone actually cares. They ask and respect input. In 2008. I was asked what my thoughts were and then they apply most of it to the next build. Now this is growing like nothing else. I see the compition trying to be like this. "Trying" The key is to buy the pro infinity and then watch videos and read this forums as there are ideas and features that I am still learning. I know it seems like a lot of money but I make more then the cost in one event. In the case of gear to work with this , there is unlimited. You can use anything as im using stuff designed for totally different gear and mapped it my self having over 200 buttons and dials. In the start I dj with used gear from a pawn shop. I let the kids play with the program using a 30$ controller and there own hard drives as you can have different profile and its simple to use. If you get lost or need help post here and we will help and also watch youtube videos as some of the people are brilliant here. I suggest trying the free version to figure out the layout then when ready buy a cheap controller then buy pro.. then stand back.. I describe this as the future and now and past all rolled into one program. People who care build stuff and also care about the stability. The best things is almost all new cheap laptops can run it like a dream. Im happy to go head to head with any other dj using a program and 99% ask if they can try my set up as its now custom.. again , need help ask. Welcome to the new music generation...
