So I recently bought a MADY SCM - 700. I can plug this microphone onto my laptop and ive tried adding the microphone source in the settings option in virtual dj. Whenever i click on Apply, I get "not connected, Failed to create ASIO Buffers." The mic is definitely connected so I dont know what the problem may be. I would appreciate some help ASAP. Thanks!

You mean a Nady SCM 700?
What are you plugging it into? If you're getting a message about ASIO then presumably you're plugging the mic into an ASIO audio interface? The mic itself won't use ASIO.
Are you supplying the mic with phantom power? It won't work without.

Oops, yes the Nady Scm 700. I'm just plugging it into my laptop through the microphone input it has.

Your laptop cannot supply phantom power.
You can get it in one of three ways.
An external mixer that can supply it.
An audio interface that can supply it.
An external phantom power supply.
