Hi - is this possible?
I have a DJM 2000 nexus mixer, 2 x 2000 Nexus CDJ's & a DDJ-SX controller
Is it possible to have them all connected to VDJ at the same time?
I use a 4 deck skin by default so in my mind it should be possible just not sure how to configure it... any suggestions

maybe this image from the DDJ-SX manual will help but it would leave out the nexus mixer not sure why you would need 2 mixers anyhow

Yes it is possible, just specify what controller controls what decks (in the Controllers section of options).
No need to even connect the CDJ audio, unless you want it as fallback.

Thanks Guys - your correct Wicked on the two mixer requirement - there is no need for that but I would prefer to use the Nexus mixer over the SX one for obvious reasons. I'm in the middle of building a new studio so am working on the layout / position of stuff to be able to put the cables behind the false walls. To be fair I may never actually use this set up but wanted to know if it is a option so I can put it in the plan so to speak.

Sorry to "hijack" this a little bit, but I have a gig coming up with CDJ players and DJM mixer already on location in the DJ booth. No space left to bring my own SZ controller :( I really need my VDJ laptop, because it is the only software that suits my needs.
Can I plug in the CDJ's and DJM with USB only in my laptop and have a go with VDJ? Or do I need drivers or something?

What model mixer and cdj's?? I'll assume it's at least 800 or higher And if so then use you could use VDJ with those......

All popular DJM and CDJs are natively mapped in VirtualDJ 8 and you wont need anything to install, other than the ASIO drivers for the unit that will be used as a sound card. In most cases, this will be the DJM mixer. So you need to know which model they have and have them pre-installed or even better have the installer with u.
You will probably need a USB hub too, since you ll be needing at least 3 USB ports for them.

I always carry a bunch of USB sticks with me, I'm going to download all drivers to an usb stick so I always have the correct drivers with me.
Now I'm going to rent a CDJ and DJM setup to try this setup with VDJ...
