I use automix for passive listening quite a lot, and have a fair few halftime tracks in my collection (eg. 170 vs 85pm) I know the sync feature is able to handle this well, but for some reason the automix doesn't try to sync them. Do I need to change a setting somewhere or is this deliberate?
Thanks

Is "automixbeatmatchonfade" set to yes, "automixmode" set to smart?

Automixbeatmatchonfade was set to yes
Automixmode was set to forced fade - the problem with smart mode is that it very often decides to use "cut" transitions, which I rarely think sounds good. Is there any way to prevent that?
Thanks for your reply though

The problem is that the only way to stop it from using the cut transition is to change the type of the 'Cut' transition to another type, so that there is no cut point. Many of my tracks do have manually set 'Fade' mixpoints but these are ignored if there is a cut mixpoint.
I would like it to smart mix.
Any suggestions?
