VDJ-7 default skin includes an AUX input option for all four decks on the four deck skin.
VDJ-8 default skin has a equivalent "LINE IN" input option BUT ONLY for the two deck skin.
The functionality is in the software. The skin does not support the input option.
There is room to add it, bottom left of each deck's jog wheel.
Please add this enhancement.

If linein(s) are used in the Audio Setup then the AUX/LINEIN panels should be offered in the SCRATCH panel of the 4 Decks Default skin

Thanks @DJdad that's nice to know. Now that I might bring my midi-keyboard with me to a party or 2, I was using it on channel 2. Though I was thinking about modifying the default VDJ8 6-channel skin with an extra button on each channel to turn on and off aux-input and a repeat song button that I can use for looping. :-D

Thank you DJDad. Yes indeed the line in option was put under the scratch panel.
For the VDJ-7 skin this is on the MIXER panel.
For VDJ-8 this is on the SCRATCH panel.
So with a VDJ-8 skin user needs to
1) switch from MIXER to SCRATCH
2) enable LINE IN
3) switch from SCRATCH to MIXER

You can still assign keyboard keys to enable/disable Line Ins, using the deck x linein action

a bit late to the party but in vdj 8 line in on the scratch panel just seems to route line in to deck 1 or 2 and not 3 or 4
