My database is becoming full of streamed songs which I may not be able to play, and they confuse song selection. Is there a way to clean the database?

Would be nice if we could assign a different colour to streamed songs (or to assign colours based on rules, such as genre=reggae).

That would not be so great becauce it may conflict with them who have allready assigned colours.
As for myself I have all my audiofiles as yellow, video with orange and karaoke with purple.

That's why I said "assign". The software doesn't choose - you do.
For example if you're already using yellow, orange and purple then you could assign blue.

@The Magic.DJ
The normal way does not work.
We need a button to press which then just shows local hdd content.

I was thinking this too. With using both Spotify & Deezer my DB has countless entries for songs I will never play again.
Would be great if we could press one button to clear the DB of any streamed entries.
