Lars talking to other DJs and trying to put my trims to say 9o click but software goes to 12 o clock ect on all loaded songs .is there a way to set trims to remain @ 9. Until I move it

On controllers with software mixing, you are better to use 12 O'clock as the default gain level. Assuming you have "autoGain" to "yes" then it will set the correct level for each new track at the 12 O'clock position. To get this bang on you also need to set "gainSliderIncludesAutoGain" to yes and "zeroDB" to -3 or -6
Regarding the pickup position, if you set "controllerTakeoverMode" to "instant" as soon as you move the gain knob the software level will adjust instantly.
It's just one of the things to get used to with these software mix controllers.

I will have a look at those when I set up my ddjsx thank you.
No major issue but for active gear want to keep it nice volume/sound wise

If you use those settings above then every track will have pretty much the same volume.
