I'm not sure if this is a bug but I'm pulling it as this shader is sclavel's edit. I'm not getting the cubes resizing in vdj.

It's supposed to sync with system time, but in vdj it starts at 00:00:00
 

I can't say it's a bug for sure but I'm really suspecting sound reactive shaders aren't working right with vdj

The far left side seems to move far less, where as the the other 2/3rds are kicking off big time

looking at this one, on shadertoy it's centred on bass, in vdj there's a massive dip in the centre.
Like vdj isn't getting the freq right, or maybe endianess is wrong [blind guess]

Weirdly enough I kinda like the dip as it's symmetrical enough to get away with it
 

I know what you're saying, that's a day zero shader and assumed that's the way it was meant to be.
I might try re-edit that one if this is a confirmed bug.

can you see if you can get the clock one to work?
 

I know it would be nice to have [NYE] but there's nothing I can do, my guess is vdj isn't giving iDate to the shader at all so it takes the variable as zero.
 

Question guys
I'm missing the transparent button on the shader. It was there one minute, and after restarting VDJ it was gone
I'm on 8.3 B4918
 

transparent dial is not available as audioOnlyVisual.

If running as audioOnlyVisual, it means behind the shader would be black, so transparency would be pretty useless.
 

Any comment on the stuff I pulled.

The Video Source drop down is the same as audio Only vis.
Select (Transitions) from the menu or load a video, then select shader from the video effect drop down under 'overlays'
 

Why don't the shaders mentioned above work correctly in VDJ?

Shader (Transparent) combined with Milkdrop, (as AudioOnly) totally, totally Awesome!!!!!!!
 

All the above mentioned shaders are working on my MacBook like there supposed to EXCEPT the clock, it always starts at zero.
 

@tsi,
the first one, do the cubes change size with the music?
the eq bar graph [the one that won't show in the forum for some reason] does it actually look like it's following the sound or does it look a bit random?
