Hello,
I am using the default skin. The deck A and deck B bars show 4 Beats, they loop 4x over the bar for a total 16 BPMs, and then start over again. The music I use to play can be counted by ear as 1-2-3-pause 1-2-3-pause ...... VDj detects 1 and 3 only as Beats, so in one bar the sequence is 1313 and then starts over again. I would like to know if there is a way to display 8 counters in 1 bar, to include the 2 and the pause.
In other words, instead of
1313 1313 1313 1313 (counted up to 16 and then start again from 1)
I would like
123pause 123pause 123pause 123pause (STILL COUNTED UP to 16 and then start again from 1)
in other words I still want to count BPM based on the 1 and 3 only (tempo) but I would like to display 1 counter (contratempo) between two beats, so I need 8 counters in 1 bar.
I am sorry for asking this in a very primitive way, I am obviously not a musician

What? :-/
Please give an example (title and artist) of music you "use to play" that goes 1-2-3-pause.

For example: "Meu Cenario" executed by Sandro Becker (easy to find on youtube). It is a 2/4. Vdj recognizes 84 BPM. You can clearly see three peaks - nothing - three peaks - nothing in the waveform. That is what I meant with 123pause 123pause.....
In any event, in a nutshell my very question is: is there a way to show 8 indicators instead of 4 on a single bar? In a way that the 4 extra indicators are exactly alternated in between two beats (implying that the overall time duration of 1 bar is left unchanged). So in the end in one bar I would have 8 indicators which in units of beats would be like:
1 - 1.5 - 2 - 2.5 - 3 - 3.5 - 4 - 4.5 then start over again
Hope this clarifies, thanks.

Why do you need this extra indicators, or why do you not want to double the bpm and set it to 168 bpm instead of 84 bpm then?

Thanks for the reply! I thought of it indeed, but I would need to change this on my entire library (I guess). I would get the half-beat indicator in this way, but only for a single 1-2-3-pause sequence in 1 bar. If possible, it would be great to have 8 indicators! Thanks!

Why would doubling the BPM not double the indicators for the whole song?

with "Indicators" I meant the 4 lights (per deck) at the top of the skin. I would like to double them (8 per deck) in a way that they signal the half beats also.
