A Man and His Music
We've rented them for one bridal show, that included setup and computer. Our truss and media on flash drive. My experience is; in small venues you need the smallest diodes, which cost more. Otherwise, they will see every diode. Also remember that the more panels you use, the more light they emit. If I was doing large gigs on a regular basis and was younger, I might invest in them. They look cool, but I would think long and hard before buying. There are quite a few used ones on sale. I saw these in AC and they looked incredible from a distance, but as you can see in this close up video, you can see the diodes. I would say you need to be at least 10-15 feet away.

That’s what I wanted to hear!!
So distance does play a major factor with these.
I’ve been getting more and more school dances in my area and was thinking about using these instead of tvs but now I have my doubts 🤔
