I have a VJ job new years eve and the client wants to be able to play the Times Square New Years eve countdown on the screens at Midnight. Is there a way to play the live youtube broadcast through virtual? Maybe directly or through a plug in? I have tons of video on my hard drive and never needed to do this before but they want the live countdown so I need the ability to play it through VDJ.

Just take the audio feed from one of there tv's and run through a separate channel on your mixer. No need to run through Virtual DJ at all.

but what he is asking is how to play something that is live streamed on YouTube in vdj as it happens
really its not possible in VDJ, but you could just open up the YouTube on your laptop and full screen it and send to the monitors.

Couldn't you just open up the video on YouTube and then use the Screen Grab feature of VDJ to capture it ?
