Hi.
Was wondering if you could record only music or mic input on lets say deck 2 while music is playing on deck 1. So that only the output music on deck 2 are recording and nothing from deck 1 records but you can hear deck 1 from the speakers.
Is this possible?

You can easily assign Deck 1 to your speaker output, but you can't assign decks to the record output. That's always going to be Master AFAIK.
You could however use VB Cable and output a Deck to that and record off of that with an extra program, like Audacity for example.

You can record in the loop section on deck.
Under Loops => Loop Rec.
When not in a loop, this will record as a "single shot" (jingle) but can be as long as you want...
But meant for shorter recordings, as "samples"
So depends a bit on WHY you only want to record deck 2.
I guess you mean you want to "sample" something of that deck only then?
