Does the home version (paid) of virtual DJ has any limitation for custom developed c++ pluggin
I'm a home dj that use it for my personal use, the infinite version is probably overkill.
Does the license cover future version or only the 2020 version ?

Yes there is one and only one limitation for pluggins that apply also to custom developed ones :
AutoStart plugins do not expose their gui
Of course all limitation in software (those needed a license) are not functionnal as in any other plugin
The license is choose by plugin developper, only the time of life the SDK will limit its usability (i.e.: SDK5 is currently already supported in VDJ2020 - 32bit)
free "for all users" are already downloadable, even they can't run with VDJ2021 or are broken (i.e.: old skins)
