With the growth of VDJ does anyone feel a controller manager is a good idea for automating the script building? Not meaning do away with the ability to write script but also making it easier through a manager app.

Isn't the learn key & pic action methode easy enough ?
(color picker used to pick action on skin, bottom right of list of actions, is often forgotten)

Gonna try it; how complex can it be? Like can I add variables to existing mappings to a button or slider?

I'm making my own mapping 'preprocessor', but it won't make scripting easier. It's just making it less cumbersome by removing the need to copy-paste as many things as some controllers need, like the DDJ-1000 with it's HID / non-HID mode.
Generally i'm all for it. I'd love to dive even deeper into getting the most out of your hardware. That's why i use VirtualDJ, not any of the competitors.
