Topic: DDJ-1000 Waveform Zoom & Horizontal Symmetry (Centered)

Dieses Thema ist veraltet und kann veraltete oder falsche Informationen enthalten.

Hi folks, i've come across the "controllerWaveFormZoom" option in the settings, but it appears that it has no effect on the DDJ-1000.
Is this intentional?
Also i've seen pictures of the controller with horitontally symmetric waveforms in the jogwheel displays ('centered' if you will) instead of bottom-aligned as it is by default.
That was presumably with Rekordbox. Is it possible to change this with VDJ as well?
Best Regards, Function =)

DDJ-1000 offers a few pre-defined views when you turn on/off various screen elements.
Therefore open controller options and try to turn off cover or beat scope (or both) to see which view fits you best.
These views are controlled by the device firmware and VirtualDJ has no control over them.
The screens of the DDJ-1000 are "fixed" (not skinable) and VirtualDJ sends all the info for them to operate on the exact same maner Rekordbox Dj does.

It doesn't do it the same way as Rekordbox does, because VDJ ignores the full/half waveform configuration when sending the waveform to the device. Rekordbox does this. When you set it to use full waveforms for the deck waveform view, it also changes this on the controller.

Here are some pictures:

There is no configuration (setting) that VirtualDJ ignores.
Anyway, on next build you'll have the ability (via controller options) to toggle between half and full height waveforms.
