Hi,
I am currently using a Kontrol S5 with Traktor Pro3. I purchased SoundSwitch to run my DMX light setup. Traktor Pro3 does not integrate with Soundswitch (and probably never will). I am seriously thinking of changing over to VirtualDJ, but only if I can continue to use my S5 controller.
Is this possible?
I am willing to sacrifice the functionality of the displays on the controller and the touch strip (if unavoidable). I am able to start the controller in MIDI mode.
+ Is it possible to create a custom MIDI mapping for the S5 to VDJ?
+ If so, do you need to have a Pro license to do that?
+ Are there any S5 mappings already out there for VDJ

Screens will not work with VirtualDJ.
All other controls can be mapped as "Simple" Midi or create a custom definition (https://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/ControllerDefinitionMIDIv8.html to have leds working), but will indeed require a Pro license.
