Hello,
I'm just migrating from Traktor and am trying to replicate a function:
I used to place two cue points in each track; a fade in (normally at the track start) and a fade out (when I wanted to mix out of that track. They were called fade cues, but didn't actually fade anything.
When Track 1 would get to the fade out cue, Track 2 would start playing.
The crossfader was not affected, I could cut/fade as I desired, it just started the other track.
Is this function available in VDJ or can it be done with custom buttons?
Thanks in advance

Thank you locodog, that is a very elegant solution.
Is there a way that I could quickly apply my 'fade out' cue to a track?
e.g. can I program a button to insert a new cue point with my action macro behind it?

no we can't place action poi on the fly, it's been asked for many times because there's tons of applications, and I think technically it wouldn't be too hard for this case or that case, but every case might be a challenge. but I think there's a deeper reason, but that's speculation on my part
