Is there a way to automatically play saved loops once the track has reached the start point of the (next) loop?

Yes in deed is a great software. I use the prepare script quite often. Also if I'm always going to loop a song in the same spot, I add a hot cue then in the POI change it's type to Action and add the "Loop X" script, where X is the amount of Beats you wanna loop, and change the marker to blue. To me blue means an automatic loop.
