Topic: Database backup take a long time

Hi, could you please help me? When I tried to make a database backup, it took a lot of time and, it didnt´t finish.
I let virtual dj rua all night, when the process of backup was started and in the morning haven ´t been finished yet.

I have the latest version of Virtual Dj.

Have you already cleaned your database with the option inside of virtualdj? If no, could you do first before the backup.
Do you know how many songs you have in your database? With a * in the search you should see it too.

For reference: I have 152,119 files and takes less then 15 sec to create the database backup.

Hi all.
I cleaned the missing files and I have 20 957 files in database:) and in the end still freezing.
And take a lot of ram memory....

You can check the tooltip on the 'backup' status message to see where it gets stuck.

Solved, problem was in Virtual Folders :)

Problem was with one Virtual folder. I removed her and now backup takes 30 secs.

hi i seem to be currently having the same issue, can i ask how did you identify the folder that was causing trouble?
