How can I jump from one saved loop to the other? When I press the loop memory button on my DDJ-800, it stays on loop 1. If I press the button again it still stays on saved loop 1.

That section explains how the loop area works.

Thanks for link. Very illustrative, however it doesn't tell me how to jump from a saved loop to the other. Do I have to "hot cue it" and jump to it as described in the illustration?

To jump to the Saved Loops, you will need to right-click on the Pads (or holding SHIFT+ Pad on your controller) with the Saved Loops page loaded
https://www.virtualdj.com/manuals/virtualdj/interface/decks/decksadvanced/pads.html#savedloops
As explained in the DDJ-800 manual ( https://www.virtualdj.com/manuals/hardware/pioneer/ddj800/layout/decks.html ) the MEMORY button only handles Slot 1, so for further Saved Loops you will need to use the Pads section
