I saw some old posts about people wanting to use an external drive as a common location for playlists/database so they can use it on 2 different machines. No one had a solution, though I wanted to find one for my use.
It's actually quite easy (for Windows only):
Close VirtualDJ
Open regedit.exe
Browse to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VirtualDJ
View the entry for 'HomeFolder'
Use 'explorer' to move the complete 'VirtualDJ' folder from the above (OLD) location to your (NEW) location
Change the registry entry to your (NEW) location.
Close regedit.exe
Open VirtualDJ
