So I run Hydra-Synth shaders often for all sorts of projects from live coding visuals to the backdrops in websites and I'm curious if there's a way to load and run the library directly in VDJ? My workaround has been to send my instance of hydra from OBS into VDJ using NDI, but I'm hoping there's a hidden folder somewhere that actually stores all the shadertoy scripts and I can run 'npm install --save hydra' in that directory maybe... then add my own hydra scripts with the vdj video output as the canvas. Also curious -- if the first part is even a thing -- how VDJ would handle communication of bpm/grid, midi, etc. with the shader scripts... Basically, I'd like to be able to write control components directly into the hydra script - be it midi commands to be triggered with vdj custom buttons/faders, or audio reactive components that are tied directly to the vdj bpm/grid, or whatever other crazy ideas I come up with once I figure out the environment variables...
