Topic: Why am I’m hearing both decks if the crossfade is moved over hard left/right?!?
Hello,

I was working on a mix and during my mix , I began to crossfade from one deck to the next. Well the song from the previous deck was still playing in the current deck. Normally when you crossfade from one deck to the next, the volume from the previous deck will go down while the current deck volume increases. Does anyone know how to fix this issue in the current update of virtualdj?

Thank you.

As is standard on many hardware mixers, there are options to engage or disengage the crossfader depending on whether or not the DJ wishes to use it.

Details in the manual.

Also if you're using an external mixer setup, the software crossfader is not used.

Indeed, on my controller there are small switches that allow me to either assign a channel to the crossfader, or, skip the crossfader.

Your audio routing settings in VDJ may also play a role.
