Usind FLX10 and need help how to mapp controller so outer ring (jogwheel) does oppodite direction.
How?
In a old version (7 i think) this was a option in setting but VDJ have taken it away.
I want this so when I use horizontal wave windows it will match in movement with what i do to outer ring. Total brainfreeze everytime I wanna bend/nudge tracks.
Now it is right in my brain when I use vertical waves = backwards is backwards but as above in horizontal is backwards at outer ring forwards.
There are a old big thread for this in "whish list" (se link below) but VDJ seems not to bring this function back.
https://www.virtualdj.com/forums/187263/Wishes_and_new_features/Wave_Form_Display_Direction.html
So can we mapp controller to do the oppsite?
Or any other way to fix this brainfreeze moment everytime when using horizontal waves?

You can remap the jogwheel, but honestly, it seems that you give too much attention on the visual thing (when you shouldn't)
Let me explain:
Your should develop the muscle memory to move the jog clockwise or counterclockwise to go forward/backward without looking at the waveforms.
You said that you have used VirtualDJ with vertical waveforms and that moving the jog makes sense.
You should have built the muscle memory by now that clockwise is forward.
If you change the jog so that clockwise is backwards, (to compensate for the horizontal waveforms), then it will be against any muscle memory you have built so far. Also, if you ever switch back to "vertical" waveforms, the jog (again) will not make sense visually.
Anyway, YOU CAN invert the jog if you wish to do so. It's as simple as changing touchwheel script with param_invert & touchweel
However I would strongly advise you not to do so.
Also I would strongly advise you to take some time and get familiar with the movement of the horizontal waveforms. I get it that you would prefer them to move on the oposite direction. But current movement makes sense for 99,9% of users (of all DJ software).
So, if it makes sense for them, it should be possible to make sense for you as well. I mean, you should probably be able to find your way around them so that it makes sense. It's not hard IF you want to do so.
PS: Most likely you don't want to invert the entire Jog, only pitch bend. So if you go that route (I still advise strongly against it) you need to remap ONLY the following key
JOG_OUT_RING dualdeckmode_decks & param_invert & touchwheel

Great point!
Understand the logic but somehowe my brain works akward :)
And yes, only outer ring I want to change and keep regul inner for scratch
The Script above doesent work.
It messes up both outer ring and inner with a strange noice (cliping) and function on both
moderator please keep the language polite.
