Topic: VDJ with Mackie D.2 Firewire Mixer?

Hey Gang:

I'm ordering the new Mackie D.2 Mixer with Firewire card installed. I won't have the mixer for another month, but I was wondering if this mixer would work with VDJ? From what I've read, the mixer is similar to the MP4 from Rane, except the Mackie uses Firewire as the connection to the PC. According to the D.2 manual, it will use ASIO drivers (if that helps!). What do you guys think? My end goal is to use the Mackie D.2, VDJ and the time encoded vinyl .... yea baby!

Thoughts?

This is a wonderfull mixer, very well designed and ...MACKIE
I downloaded the manuals, firewire card is optional, and from a quick read i think it has 2ins and 4outs, (connected internal to the channels) and asio.
If this is the case you can use it with vdj with a controller but not with TCV. (4/4 card needed)
