If you need to restore you should save your whole vdj folder @ c:\\program\\files\\virtualdj
In there you will see the different folders for playlists, shortcuts etc...
The BIGGIE is the internal database xml document file, this one you should back up regularly.

Anytime, better to ask now than later.

I keep a folder on my desktop marked "VDJ Restore".
And in that folder I keep the installs, lic code and the xmp database.
Once you "copy to" that folder, add the date behind it, like 12 17 06.
This will do two things, it will give you a referrence point in time and it will allow you to "copy to" without overwriting.

I backup 3 files:

VirtualdjDatabase.XML (Cues, BPMs, Song Info)
mp3database.txt (Path and location of files)
History.txt (history of what I was playing when I use VDJ)

I have been unable to figure out how the cues function. How do you set, remove, adjust cues for use in the Automix mode? Where is the instruction manual?

hey Bob, you can adjust cues for automix mode when pressing "BPM" button on the default skin.

You have to have the song loaded on a deck.
