Jus out of curiousity, I hooked up the MK2 to my car stereo via the Toshiba Satellite Laptop....and my god!!! It sounded horrible, hissing loudly,distorted, I had to disconnect it quickly from the Stereo...
Can I safley assume that, Itz not practical for me to use the MK2/VDJ to entertain via my car stereo???
Has anyone ever tried this source???
Am I doing something wrong here???

Hifonics Thor Amp
Hifonics Zues Amp
Audio Control Processor
Coustic X3-e Crossover

I should add that I tried the Laptop soundcard using Windiows Media Player 10.0 and it sounded @ least 80% better than the VDJ/MK2.....

Humming is a very common ground loop problem in cars, when connecting such equipment..
Guess the mk2 got the "hum";)
You can check Google, or local car hi-fi stores for eliminators...

cant comment on your specific case but i have used VDJ via a headunit line in before at a party and it worked great, if your going to try it make sure you use a line ouput, dont have the laptop charging off the same altenator that the amps will use and make sure you use a good line in and not one of those crappy cassett addaper things. the car i was using had the LOUDEST trunk ive ever heard lol it made the tunes THUMP lol i had a cracking time.
