I'm looking at buying the nuo5 mixer, thing is is that I thought that the usb connection at the back would let me control VDJ easily, problem is is that I've figured out that it dont work this way and that the usb is only for editing the effects ect.
Now, from reading through a lot of the topics here, I see that I will need something like the maya44 or the likes, can you please explain to me fully how your connecting your gear from source (cd/vinyl) to the pc, e.g. where does the mixer come in and how does it control the midi aspect of vdj and will the tcv (or tccd) work through all this?
What I really want to know I guess is, am I going to be wasting my money buying a nuo5 and a maya44 (or other card similar) or would I actually get full use out of it?
